How our sessions work

One session a week covers both Maths and English. An experienced teacher leads it, the workbooks are ours, and the practice points straight at the exam. KS1 to GCSE, 11+ included.

1 hour · Maths

Number, reasoning and the multi-step problems that trip children up, plus 11+ technique.

15-min break

A short rest so focus stays high across the two hours.

1 hour · English

Reading, writing & comprehension built up step by step.

Two subjects, every week, in one after-school session, Monday or Tuesday, 6pm to 8:15pm. Taught in small groups, which works out at just £20 an hour.

Teaching that actually cares about the result

Years of teaching these exams give something a textbook never will: a feel for where a child is about to slip, and the patience to fix it before it turns into a habit. Lessons run from the workbooks we wrote against the real papers, in a group small enough that nobody hides at the back.

  • Groups stay small, so every child is known and nobody coasts at the back.
  • We cover AQA, Edexcel, OCR.
  • Proper 11+ preparation built into the Maths and English work.

Workbooks for the exams

No tired photocopies. We went through the exam specifications and past papers and wrote every page against what actually comes up, in Maths, English and Science. Members get the whole library for £25 a year, instead of buying book after book.

Funded & subsidised places

We offer funded and subsidised places for families on Universal Credit or a low income, because every child deserves great teaching. Spaces are limited, so please ask.
