Keeping your child safe

Our commitment

Every child who comes here has the right to be safe, listened to and treated with respect. That comes before everything else we do.

Who works with your child

• Every adult working with children here holds a current enhanced DBS check for work with children.
• Sessions are taught in a room where children are never alone with an adult out of sight of others.
• Your child is taught by the same tutor each week, so someone knows them well enough to notice a change.

Collection

Children are released only to the parent or carer named at enrolment, or to someone you have told us about in advance. If your plans change, message us before the session ends.

If we are worried about a child

If we believe a child is at risk of harm, we have a duty to act. Normally we would speak to you first. Where we believe a child is at risk of significant harm, we will contact Camden Children's Social Care, or the police if a child is in immediate danger, without needing your permission first.

If you are worried about us

Tell us straight away, at info@hampsteadtuition.com or 07496 034142. We will take it seriously and respond within two working days.

If you would rather speak to someone outside the centre, you can contact the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000, or Camden Children's Social Care. In an emergency, always call 999.

Photographs

We do not photograph or film children, and we do not put children's pictures on this website or on social media. If that ever changes we will ask your written permission first, and a no is always fine.

Medical and additional needs

Please tell us at enrolment about any allergy, medical condition or additional need. It stays confidential, and it helps us teach your child properly and keep them safe.
